September Williams will  present “Chasing Mercury: The Narrative Roots of  Medical Altruism”As a guest speaker at the at the University of Illinois Medical School,  Chicago, Rm 227, from 2pm to 3PM as,  designed as a plenary; meaning all 184 students  first year medical students would be attending this one lecture for the afternoon. This presentation is a part of the programming of Health Humanities Program  of the University of Illinois College of Medicine. The goal is to encourage medical students to both produce and expose themselves to the creativity throughout there medical lives in order to maximize their human potential as Physicians -- using the novel Chasing Mercury  as a springboard for discussion.
