The Minamata Convention on Mercury has been ratified!

June 04, 2017 in Chasing Mercury the Novel, Environmental Justice, Human Rights, mercury pollution, Minamata disease, Peace, Resistance, Social Justice, Bioethics, Victor Hugo

It is  over 40 years  since the characters Sicily and Forest first met in the Montreal Airport...

at least now I know where the third book ends! ( book II is Weighing Lead, and III is Gilding Gold)

I love this depiction on the Minamata Convention Website-- that's how mercury gets you is so beautiful and confusing and versatile -- like many poisonous things!
